Mokona's ability to go from completely cracked-out to deadly serious at the drop of a hat will never cease to amaze. And Watanuki/Mokona being cute = cute.

OMG another customer. I thought we were done with this tripe...well, either it will be two volumes (including this current one) to the end, or this customer will be the straw that broke the camel's back. Given the implicit ominousness in her coming to see Yuuko, I'm leaning towards the latter.

Especially in context of Clow liking red wine best (FTW, Clow!), Watanuki's dislike of people drinking is beginning to seem pathological. There's no other kikkake (cause) in the text than Watanuki pouring the sake for Mokona to suddenly bring up the memory-thing, so I'm wondering if his thing about sake is a body-memory?

Also, the side-text mentions that xxxHOLiC now has nine million copies in print.
