I had thought for the longest time that Jr. was way more clued in to all of life's truths than Watanuki, but his comment about living alone makes me think that he gained all his wisdom through being trapped in that tube. In any case, we're being hit on the head with their similarities again. 

I want a definitive statement about what happened to Fujitaka and Nadeshiko in the interim in the next chapter, personally.
