BioI talk about books, movies, manga, and anime, approximately in that order of frequency, with the majority of books being sff, "literary fiction," and history, up to and including academic texts. I self-identify as an historian, and consider Asian Studies my (inter-)disciplinary home.
I also translate manga, from the Japanese. Currently I post translations of two ongoing CLAMP series, xxxHOLiC and Kobato, on here, as well as of the current manga Darker Than BLACK: Shikkoku no Hana. The Links box in my sidebar contains dedicated pages for each series, as well as my translations of Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, while other miscellaneous translations can be accessed via my tags. All translations posted in this journal may be translated into other languages and/or used for scanlations with appropriate credit. If you're just looking for English, I'd prefer you to link back here rather than copy-pasting. I also translate for the Organization for Transformative Works and for Be With You Scans, under the moniker Electra. All translations that appear in this journal do so under the following non-commercial Creative Commons license.
